    Looking for a new .40...

That M&P is awesome, I WISH I could have bought it first. I got a Sigma .40first, put about 500 in it so far, no problems yet. But, man that M&P looks awesome... I WILL get one...eventually...

    .40 guys: Sell me on .40 S&W...

I own a Sigma Smith and Wesson .40, and put at least 100-150 rounds a week with no problems. I also reload all my own ammunition and rarely have an issue with them. I think the .40 is a great load for those that want more than a 9mm but less than a 45. Just one point to make about reloading...

    The First Best Handgun?

Ok, earlier this morning a checked a local shop that has a reputation for good deals. What I found was quite interesting. No one in our area stocks CZ's... I am told they just arent popular around here... I then found that the Browning hi power is a great fit, but just a clip above my buget...

    The First Best Handgun?

In the morning I will go and price a few of the ones you have recommended. This line up will include the CZ-75B, S&W 9mm and 40 cal. along with a few others I have in mind. Agian, thanks for the help, it has been invaluable. I'll be posting back soon, I may have a new gun tomorrow morning! That...

    The First Best Handgun?

A trip to the range narrows the field...sorta... Yesterday I was able to go out with my girlfriends dad and shoot some of his pistols, to kinda get a feel for what I might like. I didn't shoot a 9mm, but I did get to play with a 40 cal S&W, a 38 special revolver, a kel-tec 380, and a 45 that I...

    Old S&W...

Wow, thanks guys! Im pretty sure im not going to shoot this one, its in too good of a condition to use. I might take it to a gun show with a friend of mine and have it looked at. But I do not plan to sell it! Something like this has to much sentimental and historical value to sell. Thanks again...

    The First Best Handgun?

Ok, so im planning on buying a new handgun, its actually my first to purchase (inherited many firearms, none semi autoloaders) I love to shoot at the range, so I really don't want a .45 to wear my arm out, but I would keep it in the house, for self defense purposes, so i dont want a .22 either...

    Old S&W...

Hey guys, im a little confused about a revolver that was recently passed down to me through a relative. Its an old Smith and Wesson 38 (no special). Problem is I really dont know much past that! Below the grip I found a number...V98918.. Its even stamped "United States Property" on the top...
