    Rebarreling Rifle Help/Question

ITD Custom just rebarreled a rifle for me. Cost around $450, took about a month, beautiful rebluing. From what I hear, ER Shaw takes upwards of a year, costs around the same price, and ITD uses nice Douglas XX barrels. http://www.itdcustomgun.com/

    Anyone know of " Flaig's"

Well, if you just want a good barreled action, these guys will do it for you(apparently they use the same Douglas XX barrels that Flaig's used, and will sell barreled actions from military k98's, commercial k98's, and Montana): http://www.itdcustomgun.com/id2.html If anyone knows of anybody...

    Anyone know of " Flaig's"

Flaig’s was a company in Pennsylvania that made high quality rifles, imported from multiple rifle actions, Charley Flaig was an alleged Nazi sympathizer, who had a Herman Goering drilling(double shotgun with rifle bottom) and a Hitler bust in his house. I purchased a Flaig's Ace rifle, built on...

Want to build a 6.5x55 swede.

Norma uses 96 actions to test their loadings, it is plenty strong. It's the older 94 and 93 that you have to worry about. Either a 96 or a 98 would be fine. Why not get a 96 or 38 swede mauser?

    converting 7x57 into a .257 Roberts ?

You know, you could always take the 7x57, get a stenciler, and write ".275 Rigby" on it. Brand new rifle. :p If it ain't a 1893 mauser, I'm sure some people on the forum would be interested in it.

Show off your Sporterized Military Rifle.

I've heard it said that rebarreling is a normal thing for a rifle. Does anyone know the average costs for rebarreling, prefit or blank barrel, if any good gunsmith can do it? Also, what about checkering? Sorry for the novice questions.

    K-31, cracked stock, Richards Microfit?

Because my brother is a magician. I don't know how he did it, but I'm not lending him anything anymore. Lets say I can throw my rifle like a javelin, and still have the buttock in my hands.

    K-31, cracked stock, Richards Microfit?

Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. Love to become a more permanent member. I have a K-31 with a cracked stock. Unfortunately, not much to be done about it. So, I was looking for a replacement stock, and thought I might as well get a nice Monte Carlo stock while I'm at it. Boyd's...
