Question about the new Remington 887

the Chevy Avalanche of shotguns. Style over substance. But then again, I'm an Old School wood stock blued metal kinda guy. Probably give the Nova a run for the money, MSRP for the black one is just $400. Still, I have to laugh at people who "haven't cleaned my shotgun in 12 years" etc etc...

Winchester Defender 1300 Speed Pump ?

There's a Winchester 120 like new with a 28" mod and a 24" rifle sight slug barrel for sale in the rifle/shootgun BST section. Virtually identical to the 1300, and an extra barrel to boot for not much more than the 1300. Just sayin. :D:D:D

    Wingmaster production date?

Hey guys, great site, I enjoy it a lot! Here's one for ya: I bought an 870 Wingmaster, 12 gauge, with the serial number of 30895. This, to me, indicates that it would have been built in the first year or so. But it has the later version of the stocks on it (not the corncob forend, for...

    Ithaca 37 ?'s

Dat's true Dave, I forgot the 37 doesn't have that flapper. I dunno if that's an improvement or not LOL. They made stocks and forearms for Model 37s in my town, up until +/- 1985. Go into a lot of professional offices even today and there's a tabletop lamp sitting there ... made from a 37...

    Model 10 and Richland ???s

Thanks a million for the replies!! The Richland 828 that I have is marked "Gardone VT 1960", along with "Model 828 Made in Italy". I've had half a dozen folks over the years tell me that a 20 gauge Model 828 is impossible, since the 828 was only made as a 28 gauge. But nevertheless, this...
