Hey guys, new here, wonderful site.

I have a couple of ??s to start off, any help would be appreciated.

1. I have an old Remington Model 10 that needs a new stock. Any ideas where I might get an original but uncracked stock for it?

2. I also have a Richland Arms over and under 20 gauge, Model 828. Any leads on where I can find specs and history on this model of Richland?

Thanks alot, standing by.

Richland Arms, of Blissfield, Michigan, was the importer for a number of Spanish made shotguns in the 1970's. I have a Richland Arms Model 200, a side-by-side 20 guage made by G. Zabala y Cia of Spain. I could find no mention of a Model 828, but you might try their website, http://www.zabalahermanos.com/ to see if they can help you out.

Thanks a million for the replies!!

The Richland 828 that I have is marked "Gardone VT 1960", along with "Model 828 Made in Italy".

I've had half a dozen folks over the years tell me that a 20 gauge Model 828 is impossible, since the 828 was only made as a 28 gauge. But nevertheless, this one's a 20, and my Dad and I have killed a trainload of quail and other game with it, including ducks and geese (3" chambers) and even a couple of coyotes with buckshot, which we carried in the vest while quail hunting. I killed my first Canada goose with it at age 6.

Dad bought it mail-order from Herter's, Waseca, MN., in the 1960s, when quail hunting was at its peak in our area. I know for sure it was responsible for 500 quail a season for a string of years 1965-75 or so.

It's a heckuva shotgun, well-made, and I would sure love to get another one.

Thanks again.
