very good looking rifle Hope the mount works out for you, I have only had good results with long-term use and holding zero with Ultimak rail, M.I. side mount and k-var side mount. Someone asked if it was hard to get ammo for the Ak74, answer is No. 5.45 is available on most ammo sites.

The rifle looks very sharp, AK74s are my favorite rifles. The only front mount that has worked for me is the Ultimak but I when to a side mount M.I. or K-var work great for me. Someone asked if it was hard to get ammo, plenty of ammo on line. No shortage of ammo whatsoever.

I don't know of anyone that likes to shoot steel case ammo out of an AR and cheap brass 223/556 is like 37-40cents a round. Also most ak parts will out live the owner. ARs need bolt, bolt carry, gas key cam pin replaced after extended use.

The 7n6 didn't dry up its all over. I just ordered 1080 rounds. All the bulk ammo sites have 7n6 for .20 cents a round and wolf ammo for .25 cents a round

I have 2 sks and a mini 14 all with tapco stocks and they are fantastic also tapco makes the only magazine that works 100% on my sks. Try the bolt mod it's all over YouTube.
