its mounted high because I have a flat top rail on my other rifle, on my m21's mount the ends of the rifle scope can over hang. If I drop the cheek piece, I can use irons since the mount hovers above the irons. It's a sweet set up!

I actually shoot better with the P-01 over my SP-01. The P-01 seems to be custom tailored for me out of the box, it fits my hands like a glove.

You can always add new sights...and frankly adjustable sights shouldnt really be used for CCW. Novaks are smoother and are more snag resistant.

I figure the JHP Corbon penetrates deep enough and with the added effect of fragmentation, it maybe still very effective. then again when i practice I don't just shoot once and wait to see if it's effective. I would love to see some gel test of the corbon jhp rather then the normal...

if you have a glock, all you need is 5 drops of high quality oil. i like FP-10, a lot of people swear by Militec-1 though.

I usually just dont bother wiping it down since Breakfree + Eezox have very long lasting corrosion protection ability.
