Are our NFA Trusts in trouble?

Thank you all for the replies! Especially you Aaron! That was very helpful information. I was not having any luck searching the forums here turning up anything related to 41-P except this post. Also seems like what I found doing an internet search was dated 2013. Has it really been...

Are our NFA Trusts in trouble?

I was at my local class 3 last weekend looking to add to my trust and the owner told me of something that I found concerning. He said that the ATF is looking to change the requirement's for obtaining new items to your trust. Specifically he said that they are trying to pass law that would...

300 Blackout powder and bullet questions

I have a 8inch barrel 1:7 in 300BLK with a pistol length gas system. I picked up some 190gn SMK from RMR bullets and use around 12gn (please develop your own load) of H4198. I was looking for a subsonic load for suppressor use and got an average of 1050fps. This has proven to be...

    Best additive for corn media?..

I use Nu-Finish and throw in some used dryer sheets to keep the media clean. It does a great job and comes out looking better than factory new. You don't need to use much and a bottle will last for years. You also don't need to add it every time.

    "Pulled" Bullets for Reloading

I've used some pulled bullets from RMR with great results. I needed some heavy .308 caliber bullets for subsonic loads in a .300blk. RMR had 190gn Sierra Match Kings that were on sale so I tried them out. I am getting under and inch accuracy at 100 yards at 1050fps using an 8.2 inch...

    68gr Hornady Poor Accuracy

I too have had unfavorable results from the Hornady 68gn bullets, however to be fair I did run out of decent weather before I could finish my work up( its 13deg now). I was using a 1:7 twist 16" barreled AR that shoots great with Lake City ammo. I was using 24gn of CFE223 and I too was...

New CFE Pistol powder......I hope this stuff works.

I also took the plunge and bought an 8lb jug :) I have only used it for 9mm and .38 spl so far and plan on using it next time I have to load up more .45 acp. It also seems to meter pretty good on my progressive Lee PRO 1000. CFE Pistol gets my vote! Also CFE223 has worked well for me...

What type of .22 LR platform do you like to suppress?

Using a SWR Spectre II I have a few host firearms but my favorite is the bolt action Savage MKII FVSR. Using CCI Standard velocity it is quieter than my kids Red Ryder BB gun! All you hear is the firing pin and the bullet hitting the back stop. Also a Ruger MKIII 22/45 Lite with red dot...

Sig 716 pistol with arm brace, SBR candidate?

Thanks for the replies. I guess what I meant to say was that when buying a rifle in PA it is different paperwork than when you buy a pistol. A stripped lower I was not sure about. When I bought the lowers the paperwork was done as a rifle, which means that if I resale them there is no...

Sig 716 pistol with arm brace, SBR candidate?

If I were to buy a new stripped lower with the intention of building a 10.5in barrel using a Sig "pistol brace" would I need to register it as a pistol at the time of purchase? Or can I purchase it as I normally do when building a rifle and just install the Sig brace to make it a...

    x-treme bullets

I have just recently bought some bullets from Xtreme and had a great experience with them. Got 3k assorted calibers on a deal they were running a 5% off and $5 shipping for the whole order!! :what: Admittedly their shipping was a tiny bit slower than RMR which I have used in the past, but...

    CCI primers for .223/5.56

I recently stocked up on some CCI #400 small rifle primers in anticipation of starting to reload a new caliber(.223/5.56). I was then talking to a reloading buddy that said to only use CCI #41(package says for 5.56), which I had never seen before, until today... So i am wondering if anyone...
