My setup, a Savage MKII and a Tasco 3-9x40mm has performed well for me, all for less than $150. Some people have told me i wasted my money with the cheap stuff, but so far i haven't had any problems. (other than losing those tiny little 10rd banana mags :fire: )

I've been thinking about this for a while, and figured i should just ask people who know far more than I do. How can one accurately compare the recoil of semi auto handguns to revolvers? Specifically, when firing a semi, does the change of center of gravity, due to the movement of the slide...

With Walmart being 30 minutes away, i have had to put a little foresight into my ammo buying. I'm happy with around 50 rounds of each caliber (except .22LR, a couple hundred rounds on hand), just in case i get the urge to walk out in the pasture and put a few into the hill.

Southwest NE is treating us pretty well. we just relocated a couple months ago, and there are jobs available, and cost of living is low enough. Plenty of space to shoot out here, as long as you don't shoot at or near livestock. Lol

My wife got the satisfaction of destroying an xbox 360 in a hail of 7.62x39 and .300 savage. The latter left the internals smoking for several minutes afterwards. Cross that off the list of things that can be used as cover. Fun day at the range with her regardless :D

Top looks like an HK Mp7 to me. Neat little stock on it. +1 on the AUG, I wish i could shoot right-handed and own a bullpup style rifle :)

i drive a little Hyundai... and i shoot cheapo tula 9mm and 7.62x39 steel case. Since I'm the only one shooting where i do (Land owned by a friend of the family) the only "Brass" i find is mine :)

The high school i graduated from offers state recognized hunter's safety as a semester PE class... All of the gun stuff was done as a "field trip" to a local range, with permission slips from parents. We were lucky enough to have an archery range attached to the school for it :)

Semi Auto Tech 9. My hi point shoots more reliably in pouring rain than that tech 9 did on a perfect day. literally could not put 3 rounds through it without a FTF, FTE, or the mag just plain falling out. K
