Off topic, but today a local trooper told me about an old incident in Georgia where a highway patrolman there was shot during a traffic stop. He said it was on youtube, so I searched for and watched it and several others. Real sad stuff right there. Reminds me how much risk those poor folks...

I drive by the scene and the memorial almost everyday (my wife now has a store in front of where this occurred). I cringe everytime I see Dove's and Grogan's names. I still can't believe a 9-minute gun battle happened there.

I just put up a two-man stand. It wasn't hard to assemble. But, I did take it into the woods with an ATV and it took two of us to get it on the tree. Needless to say, I am not moving it anytime soon. I also plan on hunting out of it even when my son is not with me. There is so much more...
