    Charter Arms?

I have 3 Charter Arms right now. Two are snub .38's and the other is a 4" barrelled Bulldog Police .38. Recently dumped the beautiful S&W Model 36 Chiefs Special that I had because the trigger edge was sharp, the hammer spur was sharp and the trigger really wasnt much better than the Charters...

    Price check please !!

I didn't buy it. I'm a plumber, did an emergency repair today and my customer "paid" me with her recently deceased husbands gun which she wanted out of the house because she was afraid her grand-daughter would find it. I've had 36's before and I'm quite happy with the old 70's/80's Charter Arms...

    Price check please !!

I managed to pick up a nice S&W model 36 today. Chief's Special .38, blued, wood grips. The grips are nice color, the gold medalion in them is perfect. Gun shows very little use, is super clean, no rust, no pitting, lock-up is nice and tight. The big burning question is...what's a S&W 36 going...

Snubby love: New-to-me Charter Arms Off-Duty

I have more than one. I buy only the Bridgeport or Stratford guns and think they're under-rated good little guns. I've been paying around $200 for my used ones this past year. Enjoy it.

    Rifle for my little girl

I'm just going to throw this out there....have you considered 7.62x39? Has often been compared to the .30-30 as far as deer knockdown power and accuracy in the brush. Should be accurate enough out to 150 yards, well within deer and hog shooting territory. I know CZ makes a really really nice...

Charter Arms date of manufacture info?

Bridgeport and Stratford built Charter Arms are the good ones. She's a keeper for sure. Unless of course you just don't like it, in which case you should contact me ASAP as I'd be interested in buying it. I'm a fan of the older Charter Arms guns. Regarding +P, while the gun may handle it, you're...

    buying shotguns from pawnshops.

I had a used Wingmaster that I put over 60,000 rounds thru over years of trap shooting with it, was a great used gun find. But, like most older shotguns, had a fixed choke. Sold the gun and moved to Florida, when I had an itch for another shotgun, checked out the local pawnshops and bought a...

How often do you clean your Ruger 10/22?

I usually run a bore snake down the barrel after every couple of range sessions and I disassemble and clean everything else when I decide it looks particularly grundgy. Weird thing is, it's the only gun I own that I'm not a fanatic about cleaning, all others get thorough cleaning after every use.

    My wife needs a CCW.

I'd saya Ruger LCR or...have her look at some of the nice light Charter Arms, and they come in colors women love.

    Rossi M68 Worth It?

I've owned Rossi's and they've never let me down. Reliable little guns. Trigger pull is a bit hard though in comparison to some other guns. Like the others mentioned, S&W is the way to go IF you can find one and IF you can afford it. The days of the $300 used J-frame are over at least for a...

Full choked 870 Wingmaster for clays

I used a nicely used Wingmaster for trap, put over 60,000 rounds thru that gun in 6 years of trap shooting. Had a 30 inch vent-rib barrel with fixed full choke. And, I used it for hunting as well. Loved that gun, sorry I sold it. Go back and plunk down your $300 and be happy with it. Worse...
