Sold !! SOLD. Posted it on Armslist and it sold in less than 24 hours for $400. Buyer was thrilled out of his mind, said it was going right into his safe.

I didn't buy it. I'm a plumber, did an emergency repair today and my customer "paid" me with her recently deceased husbands gun which she wanted out of the house because she was afraid her grand-daughter would find it. I've had 36's before and I'm quite happy with the old 70's/80's Charter Arms...

I managed to pick up a nice S&W model 36 today. Chief's Special .38, blued, wood grips. The grips are nice color, the gold medalion in them is perfect. Gun shows very little use, is super clean, no rust, no pitting, lock-up is nice and tight. The big burning question is...what's a S&W 36 going...

I have more than one. I buy only the Bridgeport or Stratford guns and think they're under-rated good little guns. I've been paying around $200 for my used ones this past year. Enjoy it.

I usually run a bore snake down the barrel after every couple of range sessions and I disassemble and clean everything else when I decide it looks particularly grundgy. Weird thing is, it's the only gun I own that I'm not a fanatic about cleaning, all others get thorough cleaning after every use.
