It's operating fine now. Ran a patch through the barrel. No excessive white smoke. Looks normal. Thanks everyone.

I am a complete novice to ARs. Just put one together with a complete upper assembly and lower build kit. I've fired one live round through it. When I did, I noticed white smoke coming from where the lower and upper assembly come together. Is this the lube from the factory burning off...
