    Curious Recoil Question

Pigoutultra: In theory at least yes. Energy is lost over the distance it travels, this may be through heat, and other things. As an example, if you had a rifle 18 feet long a lot of energy would be absorbed. But lengthening it by inches? Not much of a difference. that's the basic principle...

    WARNING! Defective Winchester Ammo!

Manco, I do the same thing. I either inspect every round when I get them or when I put them in time magazines. It doesn;t take long and it is well worth it.

    Curious Recoil Question

The ADHD "encryption" is fine by me. I have ADD and can read code fine. I think the problem here is the measurement of recoil as opposed to "felt" recoil as opposed to "perceived" recoil and I would add "anticipated recoil". Lonesomewolf

    WARNING! Defective Winchester Ammo!

Scary, but real. I don't particularly like WWB and I avoid using it. Now I most definitely will avoid it.

Should I tell the Fire Department where my guns and reloading equipment is located?

A good fire firefighter will assume there are any number of hazards and proceed accordingly. not all firefighters retain information well and they most definitely will not recall all hazards of which they are apprised regardless of the population, whether it is written down, etc. And with the...

    Hi Point Carbine Opinions

Hi Point Carbine I got a Hi Point 9mm a few months ago so I could determine for myself how good a gun this is. After 400 rounds I have had no misfires, no feed problems, no ejection problems, no problems of any kind.l It's a great gun. I have a red dot on mine which I like. I clean the...

    H+R Topper M488

I was given a topper R+H m488. Have never shot it. Have had it for years and I doubt it was fired for many years prior to that. It's stock is good, needs to be refinished. the barrel and chamber are rusted but not majorly so. I'm used to cleaning my semi auto pistols, but not rifles. Metal...

    Ruger LCP vs Sig P238

Have you tried a grenade launcher?

    Ruger LCP vs Sig P238

There seems to be less muzzle flip with the Sig P238 and better target reacquisition as well. Ita great size for concealed carry, my wife thinks it's a little heavy and it is heavier than some of the other 238's, but she doesn't realize that her roll of quarters and 3 dozen pens contribute to...

    Ruger LCP vs Sig P238

Sig P238 Get the Sig if you can afford to do so. I compared both. I chose the Sig and am quite pleased with it. Actually it's my wife's, and she also is quite pleased with it. Yes, it is more expensive, but I believe the quality of build is better with the Sig. In the end, both are good...
