I‘be loaded on my Dillon 550 for 30 years. Nine calibers. Quick and easy changes. It has been a faithful friend. Never thought of changing. Suspect 550 or 650 will serve you well.
All the best,
Lou
My 10/22 with a 16” Feddersen barrel, shoots 1.25” 5 shot groups at 100 yards with its favorite ammo. I’m very pleased. It will do that consistently if the full value wind is 5 mph or so. It has a Kidd 1.5# trigger group also.

Green Mountain barrels are very cost effective. I have a 20” A2 profile from them 1:8 twist that is a 0.7 MOA barrel with good ammo. Put together a 16” carbine gas system Green Mountain Barrel for my son and it makes him smile each range trip. I like the GM AR15 barrels they are reliably...

This is an app that allows photographs of shotgun patterns to be evaluated with excellent precision. The only drawback is the use of proprietary targets. I have used it with excellent results.
Just a peripheral suggestion, in my 1884 Trapdoor, I used Lee hollowbased 405gr RN alox lubed bullets with 11.0 gr of Unique without fillers or wads. Gentle on the Trapdoor. 1000 FPS chronographed velocity. Best 5 shot group at 100 yards 0.9” but usually 2.5 to 3” groups. Good for the...
The Berger twist rate stability calculator show the Midsouth Hornady 62 gr HPBT bullets need 1:9 twist to be stable.

Just adding on my experience with MidwayUSA Dogtown 55gr fbhp 0.224 bullets. In my 1:12twist 223 Rem 700 the bullets are great ....0.7 MOA out to 200 yards tested. Perfect. However, when I tried them in my 1:7 twist AR-15 the Accuracy was inconsistent and about 1 in 8 bullets disappeared...
In my 223 Remington 700 with 1:12 twist barrel I've had very good results with MidwayUSA 55gr HPFB Dogtown bullets (apparently currently made by Nosler) and H322. 5 shot groups between 0.3 to 0.6 MOA in the 100-200 yard ranges. Good cost effective fun. Velocity with 26" barrel 3225 fps.
Hope...

There is no “screamer” load that works in every rifle. Some barrels prefer Bergers, others Sierras or Lapuas. Powder lots vary considerably–this will affect your max velocity and tune. Your barrel...
I have used the 55 gr HP flat based DogTown bullets in my Remington 700 223 with 1:12 twist barrel. The results have been great. At 200 yards, the 5 shot groups have been 0.6 MOA. With one 4 shot group printing 0.35 inches.
At 100 yards 0.35 to 0.6 inch 5 shot groups are the norm...
I used 150 gr 30-30 FN bullets in 7.62x39 to good effect. They might be worth a try. I think they would expand well at a lower Velocity threshold. They of course are best used in the under 150-175 yard range area due to their lower ballistic coefficient.
It is great your introducing young...
I modified my Ruger 10-22 with a Freddrickson 16" fluted barrel, Kidd single stage trigger and Hogue over-molded bull barrel stock. With Wolf match target ammo it is consistently 1.2" 10-shot groups at 100 yards. Very satisfying and lots of fun.
The modifications were all simple to...
