Thanks everyone. It makes sense.
I was hoping there might be an easier alternative given that everything is in-state, but it looks like it needs to be done at an FFL premise/presence.
I'm purchasing a long gun off of GunBroker from an FFL in my state, but he is a good 6 hours away.
Am I correct to assume my only two options are to either pick up the gun in person or have him transfer it to my local FFL?
Thanks.
Thanks. I was going off the FAQ posted on GunBroker.
I will follow up with the buyer or transfer this through my FFL. While it is probably legitimate, better to be safe than sorry.

As I understand it, if I ship a firearm interstate to an FFL as a private individual, I should always ship to the premise or mailing address on his FFL/EZ-Check.
FFL's should know this right? And they should never ask to ship elsewhere for whatever reason (e.g. they recently moved).
I got a great deal on a collection of four handguns (different model HKs, NIB) from someone who did some panic buying post-SH and later regretted it.
They are being shipped from his FFL to my FFL. Now, I'm wondering if I want to keep all four when I really only need one.
Is it reasonable...
