Can anyone tell me what the weight of a 240 lswc 44 mag cartridge is? I am trying to compare the weight of my reloaded cartridges to the weight of a factory cartridge just to have a base line to check against. Any assistance would be appreciated. mack

Chances are the hotel will have a safe in the managers office. If it is one of the upscale Hotels not a motel people leave valuables in the safe all the time. Mind you, I have not done this with a firearm, but have with family jewelry and such. Heck you could put it one of those small gun safes...

Two very good reasons not to ever buy any of these items from Norinco... I didn't know that Norinco was wholly owned and operated by the Chinese military and that all funds from sales go directly into their coffers until I had attempted to buy a Norinco shotgun and it was refused by my local...

these kinds of things will become much more prevalent as our culture pushes anti gun sentiement through the media, school and homes of America. Even my 3 year old knows and understands if he finds a gun or cartridge he runs away and calls for a grownup. He also knows if he ever touches/handles...

+1 on the Mozambique drill...as defaugh mentioned above.... IIRC....the first order of business is to nuetralize the threat. If that can be done by one shot in the arm or leg so be it...most likely not gonna happen... I'm from the shoot till slide lock school myself. ;)

You can always do what I do when I shoot my Mosins...Bring an old pair of sweat socks (CLEAN) roll em loose and stuff it under your shirt or jacket to protect your shoulder.:D
