    Got my new CCW!

The LCR is definately on my radar. I have an Autauga MkII dubbed "Noisy Cricket" that I am selling, and will pbly replace with the LCR. My problem is big hands. Only gettin 2-3 fingers on a weapon makes me feel like I am using something out of a gumball machine.

Who has a big collection? Post some pics.

I will get some up soon. Have to take some pics for insurance purposes if nothing else. Have recently come into (to me) a great many firearms, as I haven't had any since 1991 when I returned my service weapons. AK 47 (wife loves it, bought pink camo case for it) Savage .25-20 with scope...

Officer thwarts shooter by jamming his finger in assailant's gun

And here is something even more ridiculous about 1911A1's...if someone is pushing the mouthof the barrell against you, hold it there with all of your might, cuz if the slide is pushed back a tad, it won't fire. They actually taught us that in the Marines. Ours is Not to Wonder Why, ours is to...

    CCW D'OH! moments

    Preferred method of slide manipulation/racking

I'll add my 2 cents worth, since I hadn't noticed it mentioned in earlier posts. My original training was with the weak hand slide pull (not sling-shot), with the strong hand pushing the pistol forward. That was also in 1988 in the Marines. We were taght to draw a weapon with a full...

    Walther P38

"I had a high rise "pancake" style holster made for it and it carries well. Its lighter than my other full size autos ~ so it gets carried quite a bit. I've had no problems with concealing it, the holster has a lot to do with that. " Where did yu get the holster, and how can I get one? I...

Just found/signed up. Was looking for info on Makarovs and found you folks this way. My favorite weapons are free ones. As the only one in the family who was in the military, I seem to get all the ones they don't want/use anymore. So far it includes a S&W model 46 (from granma), an Enfield...
