awesome thread.
My Boxer who's 2 yrs old is named Barrett.
Too bad he doesn't live up to his name though since he is only 60-65lbs. But he sure does listen to me and my family really well and is really aware of his surroundings. Best listening, children friendly, guard dog we've ever owned.
I'm a Generation X'er that lives in an urban area.
I love Rifles. Learned to shoot with a .22 first. I have inlaws that own over 100 + acres in WV.
So I get to shoot my rifles at least 4-5 times a year. That's enough to keep me and the rifles dialed in but
I would love to shoot them...
This is good because I carry even when I mow the lawn and do my weedwacking. This past weekend it’s been so friggin hot here in VA. I thought to myself. Why carry when it’s just making me sweat even more. I almost disarmed myself but instead I fought through it.
Thanks for the reassurance...
I know there is a whole lot of Fanny pack love here but other than concealment
what so special about them? IMO, They draw alot of attention and people think you rode in from the year 1991 in a grey Delorean. Most people that wear them have to wear them right in front of the crouch.....why? :o...
This is a good quote.
So if you were in the privacy of your own home, you just had two beers mowing your lawn and two more while at the dinner table. BG thinks your wife is alone, forcibly enters your home and attacks your wife while your working in the backyard........You hear it and ...
That's what I'm saying. Im stockpiling rice, an assortment of can foods, stockpiling seeds for my Garden and many more items.
Along with stockpiling ammo to defend this food. 1k for each caliber is my rule. But I'm thinking about an additional 1k in .22 and .223.
In the event of a...
wow thank you guys for all of you thoughts and comments.
I started researching it a little more and man those RWS's, Beeman R9 & R7's look like a really nice rifle. A rifle that I can
pass down to my kids. on the price.
I'm going to have to put more thought time and research this...
With the rising Ammo prices and a Love Jones for shooting. I was thinking about buying a decent
Air Rifle around $100 , A Pellet Trap and shooting to my hearts desire.
Shooting Airguns in my area (city) is legal and my neighbors are pretty good people. The only thing around me is Pistol...
You beat me to it. I was going to say I've taken my fair share of squirrels and rabbits with a pellet rifle.
In a TEOTWAWKI situation, I think I can take 2-3 small game animals a day just on a pellet rifle alone. Not counting all of my deadfalls and snares that I would also set up.

Every Gun Shop around my way requires your regular 2 forms plus proof of US Citizenship
So everyone that has had to shoot a dog in self defense or for the defense of others within CITY LIMITS.
What happened after the Police arrived? What did they say to you?
Exactly.
IMO, I don't mind it when people state their own opinions in a thread. That's what this place is for to share thoughts and Ideas.
Not only this site but several other sites now a days you cannot state your own opinions, thoughts or beliefs without someone blatantly attacking you...
My best friend (a Pastor ) and I were talking about other Christians coming up to you and questioning your need to ccw or your need
to even own a firearm.
How you should turn the other cheek and use the famous line " Live by the sword die by the sword" also retelling the story of Peter...
