Any shotgun in good working condition that you have experience with will work just fine. If you need bragging rights too then spend a lot of money.

In the hands of an experience user a 410 shotgun would be great. I do not believe pumping the gun scares anyone and may even warn the bad guy to pull his own gun. I personally believe with no or little practise a point and pull double action revolver is the best. A 32 or 38 is effective...
CZ
I think the CZ is a good choice.
My preference for skeet is a Remington 870 Wingmaster 20 ga pump shotgun.
I like the additional challenge of a pump. Much cheaper than a O/U too.
Shot for clay
If you are on target the smallest amount of shot will break your clay target. If not the largest amount will not break your target. If you can consistently hit your target using the larger amount you will likely find that you can also do it with the smallest. You will soon realise...

You can find a nice gun in the $800 range. Fancy wood and scrolling do not help you hit your target. You cannot buy the ability. More money spent gives you bragging rights and thats about all.
