I've got a 3"LCR and like it as well. Please post about the holster when you get it. I have the Mitch Rosen holster from Shopruger.com and it's perfect for owb but I'd like an iwb also.
I picked up a 3 " Ruger LCRX as my woods and around the farm carry gun. Light ,accurate and so fo very reliable. The only predators I have to worry about are 2 legged so 38 special + p is sufficient.
LCR. Got a .22, 38 and a LCRX with a 3 " barrel. Light, reliable, tough and the best DA trigger of any I've used. Thousands of rounds between my wife, son and I without a hick up. It's inexpensive and not that bad looking. What's not to like
For me anyway, this is not really a ccw gun. I've got others to fill that role. I'll carry it owd around the farm and in the woods. A lot of back yard plinking for sure.
I got one of these for Christmas /birthday. I absolutely love it. Shoots great, carries great, the same awsome trigger as all the LCRs, and I don't mind the look of it to much either. Just got a Mitch Rosen holster from Shopruger.com that looks great and fits like a glove. I've put about 100 Win...
Had mine for a few years now. It wears the same furniture. Never a hiccup. Very comforting to have at arms reach with all of the multiple actor home invasions we've had lately.

The greatest risk in buying a handi is that you will soon be wanting another. Check out the H&R/NEF forums a www.go2gbo.com. They are infectious. I guess there are some bad ones but the pile of them that I have all work great.

I was an MP and had 1911s from every manufacturer except colt in my 8 years. I never had one that wouldn't shoot well. A lot of guys claimed they were shot loose. I could always keep it in the ten ring from 25 if i took my time. It was a sad day when they left the arms room. If I remember it was...
There's always someone shooting in my neighborhood. I've got 200 acres so I shoot all the time. My neighbors don't care. I don't even know what the law says about it here but I know you can always hear someone shooting. Gotta love country life.
