What make is it?

To resurrect this thread: has anyone ever seen anyone with a modified storm with a true pistol grip? Is it possible (for a gunsmith or someone who knows what they are doing) to simply cut off the piece that connects the grip to the rear stock?

As others have posted, lots of LEOs and military personnel seem pretty confident in the MP5 (even these days). So, I don't have a problem with with +P 9mm HPs for home defense. My question, though, is why didn't Beretta give the Storm a true pistol grip? Is it a tactical design, a legal thing?

For the civilian world, I think it's hard to beat a 9mm carbine. The average BG isn't going to wearing body armor. The key is to hit him. A low recoiling, easy to shoot 9mm loaded with +P HPs would get the job done.

I was told that a Tango Down may not fit by YHM rails (I'm currently running the light weight FF 4 rail model). Anyone know if this is true? If anyone owns this forend, what vert grip are you running? Thanks!

I have a SOCOM 16 in the standard stock. It's a very nice rifle - but the one drawback is that it is very heavy.
