    Another dumb shipping question

I'm not an FFL dealer but the one I spoke with indicated that a transfer is usually ground-shipped and arrives within 2 to 4 business days. Hope I heard him right - I don't want to be passing around incorrect information.

    Expiring Green Slip - Michigan

Barbara... Thank you!!! The email has been sent. The sad thing is that a gun dealer had a handgun that I wanted; brand-new GLOCK 23. However, he sold the last one yesterday and won't get a new stock in until sometime in the next few weeks. I've checked the other dealers and no one has one in...

    Expiring Green Slip - Michigan

Hate to beat a dead horse... The more I read and the more I call, the more "educated" I become. In Michigan, each city dictates their own "permit regulations"; some don't make you wait, others do. Roseville has a 10 day waiting period before they will issue or deny. If they issue and you don't...

Permit to Purchase Sorry gang...it's officially called a Purchase Permit. Whenever I use that phrase in MI, I get blank stares  Question is, do I need to complete another application and wait the 10 days before another one is issued.

I can't seem to get a straight answer from the Records department  so I thought I'd ask here... My green slip is good for 10 daysl. If it expires, do I have to go through the application process again, and wait 10 days for approval, or can I be issued another one immediately (within a...

    Handgun Purchase - .380 over a .40cal?

9mm Good advice, from everyone. I'm going to take her to the range this weekend and (hopefully) rent a 9mm. Sounds like an excellent gun for her (and me too  ). I've owned a S&W .357 snub nose, Walther PPK, Colt 45, S&W 44 Magnum some years back and loved each and every one of them...

    Handgun Purchase - .380 over a .40cal?

A new member here gang! I'm purchasing a handgun (protection) that my wife and I can both use. She test fired a Glock 23. She was extremely intimidated, stated that the recoil was too much to handle and the trigger weight hurt her finger when she pulled. Myself, I absolutely loved it . We...
