There is a gap but its pretty easy to hold the rifle on target and push the button. For me at least.

The Tavor, SCAR, M14 and piles of ammo all seem like great options but when I looked up the CZ 750 on THR search function I saw a thread in 2008 where I talked about getting one. I think six years is long enough to wait, its time.

Trying to figure out what, if anything, I want to spend a nice windfall on. It comes to just under two thousand so I'll pose a question to the forum, what would you get yourself with that kind of money? Also: Keep in mind that I'm asking what YOU would want.

No there isn't a need. You've done fine without it for your whole life. That said, lever actions are fun. I recommend one anyway.
