I've had 2 .45's, one steel and one polymer. They were both great guns with no problems. I guess it's good that I never had to deal with their customer service.
I just recently gave my son an old Marlin Model 25. The first time we took it out we took my 10/22 also. He likes the Marlin better, I guess he has an old soul too.
You are right, a good scope is all it needs.
I just got my supertuck 2 days ago and it's great. I did some laying around with the wife on the couch and it was a little awkward, but not so bad that I won't get used to it. The only problem I have encountered so far is how tight I have to wear my belt. For now I am just loosing it a little...
During the shooting portion of my CHL class the woman next to me had the same problem and she almost swept all of us. I had her put her "Hello my name is ....." sticker over her cleavage to seal it up.
Funny! I'm sure it wasn't at the time though.
I went to the desert to shoot with a few co-workers and my boss pulls out his .460 Weatherby Mag. so we can each have a go with it. I go first and get a little too close to the scope. Nobody else wanted to try it after that.
Still have the scar...
I had a CZ52 years ago. It was fun to take out plinking (especially at night). The gun was really big for a gun that only holds 7 rounds.
Wish I had it back though.
