I have Walmart Champion 45 Auto ammo but it has no lot numbers anywhere. I would assume all of them would have that.

A friend just picked me up an American Eagle 250 round value pack Cabela's had on sale, he gave it to me yesterday.

Yep AE45A250 on the end of the box.

The Federal "Champion" is different than Federal "American Eagle". Their different product lines like "Hydra-Shok" or "Gold Medal." They're all Federal but just different product lines.

Federal made good with their customer support. I just got my replacement 50 count box of .45 ACP the other day. They were supposed to send me a prepaid shipping label to send in the bad box but I have yet to receive it. I'm probably going to end up with an extra box of ammo I can't use.

Sent in my two boxes to Federal using the label and procedure they provided, and received two new boxes from them promptly at no cost. I appreciate their customer service and their dealing with their manufacturing error honorably. I will continue to use their products, since I feel I can trust them.
