I have just swapped scopes between rifles and noticed that there are some scratches from the rings on one of th scopes as the rings are now in different spots. I hate little things like that and was wondering if there is anything i can get to touch it up. Thanks, Ozhuntsman

i thought it might be because i pulled the bolt back too hard and forward too quick, but found it unusual that it went back in perfectly backwards. it has a bushnell 6500 4.5-30 x 50 with leupold high mounts so i thought there would be ample room for the cases to be ejected, apparently not.

"What is it that you get paid to do?" i operate directional drills, boring holes under roads and rivers for pipes and cables. as well as driving trucks, backhoes, excavators and the like. its good to know i would be able to pursue my interests, if i was able to move to the USA. thanks.

yep, all my spare time is spent at the range, hunting or reading and watching things to do with guns and hunting.

Thanks for all the info. While it may sound like a lot of work, I thought it would be cheaper than having to fully build a new custom rifle. As the LGS tells me, he cant get a Remington 700 in .300wsm with a 26" barrel in Australia. Which is why i was looking into re-chambering an already...

Just like to know if I can re-chamber my rem 700 varmint .308 to 300wsm? If so how much work is involved? How much barrel length might i lose? Thanks for the advice in advance.
