About 15 years ago, I had a member of the firearm's office of the NJ state police tell me the same thing. My brother-in-law wanted to give me an 870 shotgun as Christmas present on my yearly trip to Houston. The Trooper told me since Jersey doesn't register long guns and I possessed a legal...
Yeah. I was grinding the tyres and rollers on a lime kiln in a paper plant in Springfield Oregon and they had them to knock the buildup off the inner shell of the kiln. They had about a 9 cu yd hopper full of spent hulls.
When I was 18, I went to a street fair. The local base, McGuire AFB had a table staffed by their base security. They let me hold an M-60. That sucker was heavy. :D Somehow, I managed to avoid a life of crime.
I got myself completely out of debt, I've got a good handle on the new job I took in November, and I found a new buddy to go target shooting with. I'm doing pretty good.

I'd have to look at the credit card invoice, but I think it was right around $750 for 2 cases(2000 rounds) of .45ACP in FMJ. Looking at their 9MM page, the same quantity is a whole bunch cheaper.
I dunno, I got the full 600 crows. I'm not actually shooting as much as I used to, but CA might pass a law prohibiting us from buying ammo anywhere other than retail, plus a whole bunch of other restrictions, so it made sense to stock up before ammo gets anymore expensive. If the law does...
Gas as a general rule was not lethal during WWI. It caused a lot of casualties, but not so many deaths. And the reason 8MM Mauser gets the edge during the war is because after the initial advances, Germany was on the defensive in the West and inflicted many more deaths then they took using the...
8MM Mauser was used to great effect in all of those maxim machine guns mowing down the French, Brits, and Russians in just WWI. Not to mention all of WWII in 3 different theaters.
