    SVT-40 Gas System specs

    I have a question and hope someone can help out. The gas seal (ring) on the piston was unserviceable and so I had a new one made out of aluminum wire. (Could not find a source to buy them) Inside diameter of piston cup is 0.430" Outside diameter of new gas ring on piston is 0.427"...
