Got some.
Hit the range today. Shot my .30-06. Felt great. Told myself, first thing this morning, "Maggot.......you're going to the range. Any questions?" I then blasted through my work-out, loaded up, and hit the highway. Thirty minutes later, I was blowing holes in paper and breathing...
I turn 50 this year. I've vowed to devote my 50s to...
my passions -- fitness, guns, and my religion. So far, I've fallen down on my marksmanship commitment. But, once this cold snap in south Texas ends, I'm hitting the range, weekly, just as I used to, back in the 'day'. Tomorrow is supposed...
C'mon now.......how much ACTUAL trigger time do you get on a regular basis?Stand and deliver. Me? I don't get nearly enough. On average, I get to the range once every two months. I've gotten lazy.
What about you? Sound off.
* Please, Mr. Moderator, don't get angry. We need to know who...
Five years ago, an article appeared in a high-profile gun magazine that said Bill Clinton was trying to pass an administrative law making it illegal for veterans who draw VA-disability because of psychological disorders (ie, PTSD, depression, etc.) to own guns. Was that law ever passed?
Well, I need one, live in a big town, but still......
can't find one. The two I used years ago really hosed me over. No thanks. I guess I'll have to learn to live with a .223 with a trigger-pull as heavy as a Mack truck. It definitely affects accuracy, but to heck with it. I don't want the gun...
I've encountered a small army of them in my time -- chinks in my gun-metal, dings in my stock, blown deadlines, bad attitudes, and shoddy work. What gives? What does it take to be a licensed gunsmith, anyway?
Nah....
I'm going to buy some hunting property and build my own range. The wildlife will love it, too, because I don't hunt. So, if they overcome the fear of roaring guns once in a while, they're welcome to hang out with me.
If it is, why would anyone want to risk getting
arrested for carrying weapons in his/her car, when it wasn't absolutely necessary? Not I. I am proud of the fact I've never been arrested. In my profession, an arrest equals termination and unemployment. No thanks.
Isn't it against the law to carry weapons
in your car? I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know for sure. But, I thought it was. In fact, I always thought you couldn't even carry a club in your car. What's the deal?
My obsession is guerrilla warfare.
I've been studying it avidly my entire adult life. Yeah....it's weird. Anyway, my weaknesses are a lack of other kinds of preparedness, such as survival stocks. If SHTF tomorrow, I'd have nothing but a lot knowledge about underground operations and a locker...
