    P238 At 600 rounds

Wow Flint Ridge, what an awful experience. I have to assume you are very done with the P238. Mine was made in Nov. 2009, it's the two tone with stainless slide. My experience has been more like Kokapelli, it has been perfect and is incredibly accurate for such a small pistol. I love it, sorry...

Good luck with my Sig P238

I bought my P238 last December and it has been flawless and VERY accurate. Great little gun!! ..... I am surprised Sig is even out of mags, I hear you can always get a Colt pocket light mag for it.

SIG eliminated from ATF trials. S&W Vs. Glock.

Would like to know more about which Sigs were used and what kind of stoppages took place. I've had Sigs for many years and the only problems I've ever had were due to worn out recoil springs (after much use).

    40 vs 45 Recoil?

I agree with tincanhunter, the perceived recoil depends on the platform. I have had a Glock 23 and 27, as much as I like the guns, I really prefer the recoil of my Glock 36. It is just more pleasant to shoot, I prefer the push to the snap. ---BUT--- in my SIG 226, which is a .40, I can shoot it...

Gen 3 vs Gen 4 G19 pics Just wanted to post some comparison shots for the Glock guys

Have a question...I saw the Gen 4 at a gun show. I liked the the Gen 3 slide better and preferred the feel of the grip with the Gen 3 texture. Are there supposed to be advantages to the Gen 4 grip texture or slide color and finish or is it just a "style" preference?

    SIG P238 Problem and Resolution

I bought a P238 two-tone with night sights last December. I have a Kel Tec 3AT, it is great to carry but a little bruiser to shoot. I've had 2 P232's, they were very accurate but chewed my hand up when shooting them as the slide cycled. --- Fortunately, my P238 is as accurate as the P232...

    Is the Glock 36 unreliable?

I'm sure you will want to hear from those with more experience with theirs, but I have had one for a few weeks and love it. I've had it for 2 trips to the range for a pretty good break in. No problems of any kind, recoil is very manageable (could shoot it all day), very accurate, and very fun to...

Selling my CZs! Zed wasn’t so bad friend but there are better ones

I guess I've lived a sheltered life. I thought CZ's reputation was solid. I have a P01 that is 5 years old with hundreds of rounds (being conservative, never counted but more than any gun I've owned) fired without EVER malfunctioning in any way. I've had Glocks, SIGs, Kahrs, Walthers...

Know what I love about the SIG P238?

It does look like an ejector problem, sorry to see that!! So far mine has been perfect and the accuracy is amazing for such a little gun. --- I would love to see the P238 in a 9mm!! Still, I really like the little 380.

    .45 Glock 30 or 36

Good point, Purgatory. The G21 would be a great night stand gun, although, I really do like my 226. BTW, went to the range this weekend and my G36 shot incredible. Honestly, not bad recoil and VERY accurate!! Love that gun.

    Question on cylinder cleaning

Thanks, the crud starts building up even before the ring. I'm sure it's because the .38's I'm shooting are shorter then the .357 chamber.

    Question on cylinder cleaning

Thanks RC and Publius. When I first read it, I thought you were joking!! ---- But it really makes sense, I will give it a try!! Thanks again.

    Question on cylinder cleaning

I have a S&W M&P 360. As most will know it is a .357. I usually practice with .38's and some have been lead bullets. I always clean after shooting but there has been an area inside the cylinder that I can't get clean. I have used Hoppes bore cleaner and Gun Scrubber with brushes and rags, and I...

    .45 Glock 30 or 36

Thanks Gary A. BTW, I agree, the weight is another factor for carry..... My SIG P226 is my current night stand gun. I have thought about the G30 as a night stand gun. I do like it and the extra rounds are sure a big plus. Again, when it comes to carry, I knew I'd carry the 36 and the 30 would...

    .45 Glock 30 or 36

When making my decision, I put the 30 and 36 side by side and although some may not think there is that much difference in size, I knew that when it came to carry, I would carry the 36 and would end up opting for a different gun to carry if I bought the 30. No regrets!! My 36 has been flawless...
