i understand all the drawbacks of ankle carry and the fact that this weapon is quite large for this type of carry.........but due to circumstances it my be my only option...anybody do it? could it be done..what rig have you or would you use?

Going to buy a Sig soon i have gone forth and back between p220 .45 or p229 .40 i finally decided on the p220 untill i handled both again for about the 50th time[unable shoot either] the p229 fits my hand perfectly..the p220 fits ok front to back but does not fill my hand as well side to side if...

Have pretty much decided on a Sig P229 .40 have handled many times but unable to shoot one...how does recoil compare to my GP100 .357 mag ?
