RWhat powders do you have? You can load 6.0gr Unique under the 158's[jacketed or cast] in you .357 cases. That should be an easy load...

RI would leave it all as it left the factory until you finish your test. That way you know for sure any problem is due to the factory...

RYou are correct Model 14’s have very tight tolerances mine is the same way some .358 DEWC bullets are tight in it that is why I use...
