Warning Signs - No Guns Allowed

Thanks, glad you like it. I was going to put running people in there are well, but it started getting cluttered. -Robb

    Trigger job on an M44

I love my Mosin Nagant, but the 237 lb trigger pull (well, it feels like that) makes staying accurate a bit harder. I'd like to lessen the pull a bit and, being that it's cheap to replace the sear and trigger if I goof it up, I wouldn't mind trying it myself. Anyone have any good links to...

How low will anti-rights bigots sink?

Eagle, Alex is a Class A Authoritarian. He exhibits "conservative" traits and is willing to use the force of government to implement them. He promoted violence relentlessly on his blog (before he took it down) and talked in detail about how he'd like to beat and torture criminals. Just not with...

How low will anti-rights bigots sink?

akodo, what context are you speaking of? The entire history can be determined through my posting and the various links. Soybomb, us bloggers find this much time because people like Alex T. Riley are bound and determined to take away our rights. It may seem like a soap opera, but remember that...

How low will anti-rights bigots sink?

Pretty low. Be advised that while I cannot prove without a doubt that a board of directors member for Cease Fire, Alexander Tristan Riley also posed as a foul mouthed, racist by the name of NRAFOUREVER, the evidence is pretty compelling. If any of you have ever had dealings with "Professor"...

    Scene in a gun Shop

dogweilder, I may have over read that, but I've heard it said a zillion times. My mother carries a .38 special and I feel sorry for the SOB who tries to attack her. But she's a good shot and enjoys range time.

    Scene in a gun Shop

I don't subscribe to the wheel guns are better for girls idea. In fact, I don't subscribe to any particular pistol is better suited based on the dangly bits 'tween one's thighs. You choose the best weapon based on tons of factors. Not a great shot? Get something with higher capacity. Are you...

Melting lead in all the wrong places

Hunter, how do I apply my own lube?

Melting lead in all the wrong places

I've got some 0000 steel wool that I was thinking might help too. Anyone see any problems using that to get the last little bit out?

Melting lead in all the wrong places

Vern, did that some today and along with some serious scrubbing, I got out most of it out. Very little left, but I think I need a new bore brush as mine has worn down a bit. I just put on a surgical glove and capped the end with my finger. Worked great. Thanks though, that's a very helpful...

Melting lead in all the wrong places

Nope, started at 7.2, then 7.4, 7.6, 7.8, 8.1. I'm thinking the lube is the issue. Not sure I can do much about them 'cept maybe give 'em away and find a better lubed set. I reload, but I don't have the gear to cast & lube my own.

Melting lead in all the wrong places

I'll have to talk with the place I got the bullets from (need primers and more powder anyway) and see who the MFGR is and check how they make their bullets. Here's what it looks like (which isn't much help) I can lower the velocity with no problem, but I really liked the performance of...

Melting lead in all the wrong places

So, I worked up some loads with my .357 Magnum using (max) 8.1gr. of Longshot behind 158gr. SWC lead bullets. I'll be damned if I can remember the brand of bullets as I bought them a while ago but they were a smaller mfgr. and not one of the big boys. Anyway, at 8.1gr, my accuracy was...

    10mm v .357 Magnum

    Finally have a .22LR pistol

Question about the Buckmark I'm in the market for a 22 pistol myself (I have a rifle already) so that the Mrs. has something better to learn on (The Glock 29 10mm, Dan Wesson .357 Magnum 6", and the Mosin Nagant M44 are NOT good weapons to start a novice shooter out on). Plus, I want to put a...
