This story is a bit late, but I still find it relevant for a post.
The fake EOTechs have been filtering through the market as the real deal. EOTech has even received fake EOTechs as RMA repair since the end user bought the unit...
yes, you are right, colt has switch to all mil-spec on commercial guns, small pivot pins and small hole for trigger and hammer pin.
I have seen 925.00 at Botach, but you can find this at almost any Colt authorized dealer.
Like the Colt LE6940 carbine, the LE6940CK comes with the US Army approved Matech rear sight.
Bolt carrier group are the proper M16 affair, this give the gun better felt recoil and timing even during semi auto fire.
I drop the LE6940CK right on top of my California Registered COlt AR15...
For the first time as long as I can remember, Colt has released complete upper for sale in the commercial market. This is a monumental step on colt's part as to their commitment to the Civilian market.
Available for purchase are Colt LE 6940CK and LE6920CK, the CK part of the part number...
P90 suck is pretty much correct as far as the 5.7's single round performance is concern.. but even if you stitch some one with a burst of 22mag, you are pretty much going to take him down. the P90's 5.7 has fail in some very important test earlyon but the improved round is suppose to be a lot...
I absolutely agree with buying USGI, if you buy the right manufacture, those magazines are bulletproof in reliability. at today's price, it is not that expensive.

I have both and love them equally. if i had to take a MBR, i would take the FAL.

As far as supression, what...
F2000 has a lot problem with it, one of them is the ejection mech that push the case upward into the ejection tube. two is the possible stopage with the ejection port blocked by mud or other object you might encounter in the field.
FN SCAR would be the ultimate combat rifle with the option...

That is one beautiful Springfield.
I have a liitle less model on my side.
I understand the civil law suit will follow anyhow, but less ammo for the lawyer the better for me. especially living in a state like California.
All the cases he mentioned the justifyable shooter got off scotch free, no jail time. the problem is not jail sentance although one shooter was charged with Murder and got off. the problem is the money spent to have a lawyer to defend your case so you don't spend time in jail or a lawyer to...
I took a class with Lethal force institute. after you listened to what Massad Ayoob has to say about self defense shooting and the out come of some of the people. It really makes you think. you hear some serious case that range from Murder to class action law suit. and all of them are...
