It's a tourist town. I'm sure they get a bundle of tire kickers and looky loos, people that they will see one time and never lay eyes on again.
Still, it would be simple courtesy to ask if you need help and add "I'll be right over here if you need anything."
I will go to a concert every couple of years or so, and that's about the only time I voluntarily disarm.
Of course, government buildings are a no go, so I avoid them IF possible.
Perfectly legal here to carry in churches, hospitals, bars, etc. Casino carry is illegal here, but I don't gamble...
I pick and choose the events I attend as much as possible.
For example, the Indiana State Fair has a carve out that allows it to ban firearms with the force of law, the Kentucky State Fair does not. I attend the Kentucky Fair and carry.
Most of the time I have a gun on in the house, for the most part to insure I have one on me when I go in and out during the day.
Neighbors are a tad sketchy, and they have a pack of large dogs running loose that are even sketchier. Part of living in a rural area, it seems.
I carry my 469 at times, even bought a new Privateer Leather holster for it.
The mags are scarce, however. I bought a couple of new 5906 mags to use as spares.
I carry every day, and have for years.
At lunch at the original Texas Roadhouse with friends yesterday, toted along a Glock 36 and a couple of spare mags in a Milt Sparks IWB. That pistol carries well for me, even though it has apparently never been a popular model of the Austrian company.
Demand is up, prices are up. The Israeli massacre, and now the Maine murders, have driven people to reassess their weapons and ammo, and then there are the new owners.
Not to mention a federal election coming up that will very likely not break in we gun owners favor.
I have an XDs and a Sig 238. Not fond of that small of a single action for carry, so I would't choose the 938.
I chose a Glock 48 over the 43 when comparing, but any of your three choices will serve.
