I have a daughter and now I need a safe!

Hah! Yes, that will be brandished frequently! I do have a full sized one with many firearms. I just need a quick access bedside unit.

Do ya ever fret about which gun to carry

    Ditto. 3” 1911 for me.

Overuse Injuries From Work, Shooting, Reloading

There’s nothing hippie about being healthy, watching what you eat, and staying fit.

Carrying "less" in a "good" area. Nope, no thanks.

So I have a real quandary for you all. I have a CCW. The kicker is I am a FED employee. I can’t carry on the clock or in a FED building or vehicle. I travel for work 9 months out of the year. You do the math...Kind of a bummer.

How about a battleship with 16” guns?

    From Reloader to Handloader

You mentioned 11 above. 12. You only spend your money on “Handloading” and have no other hobbies, life, or personal interests. You have no kids, family (anywhere), and you look at calendars and realized a decade has past before your eyes. Food is optional, you wear a diaper to stay at you...

    How important is Standard Deviation?

I do the same. I have a “reloading journal.” My chronograph allows me to print off the results via excel. I print them out and tape them in there.

    From Reloader to Handloader

Ponder this... If you “handload” Something real special, feel it’s real dialed, go shoot, then replicate that said load...are you then just “reloading” Your hand loads? Seems like semantics to me.

    From Reloader to Handloader

I didn’t know there was a difference. I guess I do both depending on the caliber looking at the definitions above.

How many states can you conceal carry in?

You beat me to it. The Park Service is real lame about firearms. Check before you go.

    How important is Standard Deviation?

You’re right. You would need to have a population to sample from. Maybe a better way to look at it is an experiment. Change one variable at a time until a desired outcome is achieved. Really, that’s more of the realistic way most of us do things in loading. I found that if you finally get...

How many states can you conceal carry in?

    excellent. Thank you.

    How important is Standard Deviation?

Bingo. Your basically taking a sample. Any higher sample will be more statistically viable, obviously. There’s no argument there. I know of zero people that make up 50 rounds batches to test on their velocities and the corresponding stats. That would be expensive and time consuming indeed...

Red Dot on Pistol Slide- Sturdy?

I just bought a G19 MOS. I installed standard height trijicon night sights and a vortex venom. I hope to have it out and sighted in tomorrow morning. If I do decide to run it for CCW, the reflex will come off as I know I’m just not proficient with it...yet.
