does anyone know what type of rear sights was used on an oct.1944 s.a. m1 with a serial number range 318xxxx i think it might be a type 3 lock bar but not sure any help will be greatly appreciated

what all needs to be considered when using match ammo such as...... maximum grain bullet...gas plug etc,etc.
