does anyone know what type of rear sights was used on an oct.1944 s.a. m1 with a serial number range 318xxxx i think it might be a type 3 lock bar but not sure any help will be greatly appreciated
 
Type III it is with square ends but I don't think you'd get any jazz over round ends as well - threads are the same 36nf.
 
You bet. Just be sure to be careful of the varying pinion threads if you don't buy a complete rear sight in tact.
 
ive got that area covered just ordered a complete set from orion 7 it was a bit pricey $ 155.00 but it has everything thx again
