    Good Reliable $160 auto?

Another nod for the Hi-Point If you are determined to buy a chep gun, Hi-Points are they way to go. Thier pistols leave a lot to be desired as far as looks and ergonomics go, but you are getting a new gun made in America by Americans. Not some Com-block surplus who knows who is making money...

Fort Worth, TX Police plan to purchase 200 AR15's

Ya know, they may really be Assault Rifles. I know our Dept. issued guns ( they are AR's and a few old mini-14's) have selector switches, making them, technically, assault rifles. The quote does not indicate this, but knowing how accurate and informed reporters are, I am going to give the...

    Balog plays with machine guns

Gotta love the Stumps take it easy on Co. K. Kilo 3/7 was my unit in the first go round in the sand box. Only good thing about 29-Palms was leaving, enjoy.

(IL) Governor Blago ready to wipe out illegal gun trafficking

Now that they have an idea of a way to take care of that gun problem maybe they can work on that drug thing, and robbery, and rape, that would be just great

why is hi point so cheap?

Do not be afraid of the way Hi-Points look or feel. They shoot, period. In auto pistols I have 4 Kimbers, 2 Glocks, 2 CD's/RIA"S, a Browning, a Norinco, and a Styer The Hi-Point is the only one that has never malfunctioned- never. Mine is at about 3,500 rnds since its last cleaning, it...

Do any of you guys buy guns that have no practicality?

Well, after my 5th 1911 I decided that I was out of the 'need' catagory and into the 'want it' zone. Didn't stop me from buying two already this year though. If ya want it, and can afford it, get it. Got to have your toys, it's what keeps going to work tolerable.

    1911 pttern Y/N?

I've recently started selling off all my autoloaders that are not 1911's. Simply put J.M.B. designed the perfect handgun, period (IMNSHO). The older I get the more sure I am of this. Of course- you just have to have a few wheelguns.

Best and worst gun deals you've ever made

I traded a very, very well used Kimber ProCarry (Series I) for two NIB Glocks, a 22 and a 27. That was both the best and worst trade I ever made. While I ended up with two brand spanking new guns, I lost what was possible the pistol I have liked more then any other I have ever owned. Boy, I...

    Hi-Points?

I know I would rather own a new American made cheap but reliable with a full lifetime warranty handgun, no matter how ugly it is, over a surplus com-bloc gun, anyday. Just me view. Buy American, Support American jobs. Get a warranty.

Tracker .45ACP, can it shoot another caliber

Just got off the phone with Taurus and while they will not approve or recommend the practice. The service rep says the gun will handle 45Super, 450SMC, and 460Rowland. However, any problems (like blowing the gun up) would not be covered under warranty. Thanks for the suggestion 41mag

DPMS not selling new "Pre ban Rifles?"

Its not like they ever stopped making them. we've bought three DPMS rifles with all the bells and whistles over the last few years for my department, check thier LE link on thier site. The Police Carbine should be available to everyone now, and it has everything and the kitchen sink on it...

Tracker .45ACP, can it shoot another caliber

I have a Taurus Tracker in .45ACP -six inch and ported. I was wondering if this pistol can take another caliber, like a .357/.38 can. It just seems like there is a LOT of room in front of the tip of the bullet and the end of the cylinder. Seems like you could get a whole bunch more casing in...
