    Rough-wear gun choice

The situation simply cries out for a GP-100. Why even mess with another choice?

    The truth about Taurus

Dayum I'm Lucky! I've got eight Taurus handguns and they all perform flawlessly. Don't have any of their rifles though, so I can't comment about that. The Taurus handguns I own are just as good as any other guns I own. I can't speak to their longevity 'cause I can only afford to shoot 5,000...

    223 and 5.56 labelling

Weird Al yankovitch did a cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" titled "Eat It". My recommendation isto just "Shoot It". Much ado about nothing. Move along folks ... nothing to see here.

Do CCW holders in KY have a duty to inform an officer during a traffic stop?

In Kentucky the State Police know you have a CCDW permit as soon as they run your license. Let me add that in ANY state it is best to piolitely inform ANY police officer you are interacting with that you are carrying a weapon and ask how does he/she want to proceed.

Conceal Carry in restaurants that serve alcohol

In Kentucky it is ok to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol but not in a bar. Nothing wrong with having a coctail or a glass of wine or beer with your dinner either.

Ever traded a non-firearm for a firearm or vice versa?

Back in 1958 I traded a brand new cassette recorder (cassette tapes had just been introduced) for a NiB Colt .25 auto.

Companies That Stand Behind Their Products - Let's Make A List

Of all the guns I own, I've only had problems with three of them. A Ruger, a Taurus and a Kel-Tec. Taurus paid for shipping both ways. I had to pay to ship the Ruger to them, they covered the return shipping. Kel-Tec says I'll have to pay to ship my PMR-30 to them and will possibly...

Who has a big collection? Post some pics.

Oooh! Nice pictures. I don't own any guns yet, but hope to someday. And when I do, I hope mine are as pretty as those shown in the pictures.

What is the strangest shot you've ever taken?

Situation was; Buncha good ole boys shootin in the back yard. One good ole boy has a brand spankin new SKS. We set up a 12 oz. bottle filled with pebbles and water about 60 yards out on a fence post. Everybody took a shot at the bottle. Everyone missed. I pulled out my everyday carry .38...

    Ouch! Old Age Stinks!

Forget the GSG 1911-22. I just bought one and it is absolute junk. It shoots okay, but everything else about it is VERY poor quality. The finish on the gun is waaay worse than any Hi-Point, Jennings or Raven. Avoid this gun. I don't expect this importer to be in business much longer...

    Montana

Typically you can purchase a long gun in a state that borders on your home state. Handguns are handled differently in MOST states and their purchase is generally restricted to the state in which you live. Montana could be different, I dunno. Those folks are pretty strong and independent.

    Gun Record

I keep a spreadsheet with pictures. Why not? I don't sell guns, I only buy them. It's nice to know when I bought a particular gun, where I bought it and how much I paid for it. Once you pass a certain number of guns, you can't possibly remember all that crap. Of course, if anythng...

    Gun dealer stops terrorist attack?

OMG! Yes, we need to watch over our brothers ... Sieg Heil! Surely you don't mean this. You want us to spy on each other?

Have a question about a survival weapon. Help please.

Is this not the High Road? I find that statement quite offensive.
