you cant beat PSA's price when they have there daily deals. I looked a lot into building and buying and I ended up with a PSA upper/lower pre assembled from them.

If you were in the market what barrel length would you chose in a AR .308 platform 16" or 20"? They claim to have the same accuracy out of both. The 16" comes with flash suppressor and forward assist. The 20" does not...

Sorry for beating the AR .308 question's to death. I just look for knowledge before I buy something. 1500.00+ is a lot of money for me and I want it to be well spent. For those of you who use Armalite gen2 proprietary mags have you had any problems with them? Any thing that makes the un reliable?

Basically besides the magazine issue all I have heard said bad about the dpms is the fit and finish is nothing to write home about. Other then that they seem to be a reliable rifle

Sorry you misunderstood. I was only talking the difference between ar .308 dpms and armalite. Not difference between the ar15 and ar .308. The way I under stand .223 and .308 parts that sometimes you can use the 15 buttstock and some trigger parts but that's it
