Well, what ever pistol you choose I would definitely send it to Mike at Goons Gunworks and get it slicked up! You certainly don't want it choking on a cap after the 1st. shot.
I feel ur pain! I melted up a bunch of stick on W.W. for my Remy and they were a pain to load. Had my local cowboy gunsmith chamfer the cylinders thinking that would solve my problem. Well he shot some soft lead balls with no problem but the stick on W.W. balls were still a pain to load. I...
I have a pietta and a colt 2nd gen 1851s. I have both Lee .375 and .380 molds. Instead of making different size balls for each pistol I now use the .380 for both pistols, it shaves a little bit more lead off the Pietta but works well. I use W.W. for lead in my .530 mold instead of soft lead...
It's a copy of other pistols of the era. It's not an exact copy of any pistol. It's a good looking pistol so if you like the looks go for it, but there never was a pistol called the Navy-moll.
noelf2, what you would do is where the barrel and frame mate. You will pull the two pins out and lap the surfaces until you get your cyl/barrel gap. drill the end of the arbor and tap it for a set screw so the wedge will have a bearing surface. If need be add washers to the arbor hole to give...

They have not been manufactured since the early 70's. If you go to the link in Shunka's post up above you will find everything you want to know about Centenial/Centaures.
Thxs Shunka,I have already been there and all they have are the backstrap and trigger guard screws. Dave great idea!!! It Works!! But I will still need one for the wedge eventually, just to make it look right.
I picked up a centennial from the gunshow for cheap because the bolt/trigger spring appeared to be broke. Well after I got it home and apart I discovered that the spring and the screw that holds it in place are missing. Does anybody carry parts for these or know the thread size?
Thanks for all the replys! I have 1000rds on its way from Midway. If some of you would like to share some of your mid level loads that work good for you please share! It would really save me some time.
