I have a newly purchased Glock 27. It has only a couple hundred rounds through it. I carry it as my daily CC gun. I have noticed that the round I leave chambered tends to get scratched lengthwise near the lip of the brass. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Could you tell me how the Pro Operators are different than just the Classic ones? Is it just that they're more rounded (and theoretically less likely to snag) or is there a difference in the sight picture they offer? The pictures on Ameriglo's web page are something less than revealing...

I tried that. But I was raised using my thumbs to load magazines. I'm not going to pimp the Glock here, but magazine loading was one of major factors that killed my intentions of buying an XD.

To be fair, I've only put about 60 rounds through a borrowed XD9. I liked the way it felt/shot, but I absolutely hated loading the magazines. It seriously killed my thumb.

I've been hit on the top of the head with brass from my 27 - to be fair though, it bounced off the lane divider to my right before it hit me. Other than that, I've never been hit with brass from any Glock I've fired.

I'm looking for night sights for my 27 as well. I haven't shot anything with a LaserLyte sight on it, but I suspect that making the rear sights that much bigger might cause a snag/fit issue with some molded holsters. Been considering a set of AmeriGlo Classic or Pro Series tritium sights though.
