Look up the MP5SD of many 22 integral suppressed barrels. they use a single to multiple ports PROIR to the muzzle and start of the suppressor baffle stack. This bleeds gas pressure to bring a supersonic round below 1100fps.
I have and EDC a Shield or Compact in a Galco King Tuk. I wear it at 4:30 and wear my concealment shirt OUT even though they are tuckable clips. Belt is Original Special Ops Equipment EDC belt.
If the clips are used with shirt tucked, I end up scratching the car seat (wife was not happy)...
Joe,
Comment on use of Ed's Red. I tried using mineral spirits in an US and never got it to work well. Apparently the issue is the cavitation does not happen with thicker fluids. Using water based solution worked well.
Also, I use Ed's Red on some things and have it in a small parts...
My comments apply to the thread and tone.
Technical factors and concerns have been covered.
It's not directed at you or anyone, just the discourse.

I also tried to help clarify some of the issues with the OP and many have been helpful and expressed concern for safety issues that abound.
This site is really great for folks who need technical help as provided by others with experience and valuable inputs.
This thread has already covered...
CRAP, just re-read your firearm information...............
DO NOT load round nose cartridges in a tube fed magazine... you may detonate some/all of the rounds and lose your support hand (or worse). I know of at least one person who lost fingers due to this.
Less important stuff below (and...
Re-ran some Quickload..
Both power pistol and HP-38 had about the same 'muzzle exit' pressures (about 5000 psi). Just thought I'd check that.
Quickload is just an estimate.
FYI
Just a quick estimate from Quickload..
800fps in a 4" barrel...
Load charge adjusted to obtain 800fps at muzzle.
Percent powder burned at muzzle exit:
AA#2 (load to 800fps), 89% burned at muzzle
HP-38 (800fps), 99% burned at muzzle
Power Pistol (800fps), 72% burned at muzzle...
Trick on kinetic (hammer type) pullers... put a small wad of paper towel in bottom of puller so lead bullets don't get mangled by the internal ridges of the puller housing...
I tumble my 223 sized/trimmed brass after trimming (RT1200 Dillon), that knocks off the sharp edge and any burrs/trimmings...
For FMJ type in 223, I do not chamfer the case mouths, not needed for general loads (I do for bolt gun neck sized/uniformed precision stuff).
I would be surprised if a range allowed rental...
I have the AAC SDN-6 (but use it on 308/300 BLK/5.56). I may also thread one of my 308 bolt guns for a mount.
Multi-use cans are good in that respect. A thread on can would be a better option for a precision rifle (and adjust POA/POI...
Ok, I'll bite...
2 cases (no pun intended)...
Case 1:
Practice/Training loads:
General practice loads (9mm, 40 S&W, 38 SPL....) that provide good accuracy and function allowing for training and cycling of defensive firearms. Saves more expensive bullets (FMJ HP vs. cast lead or copper...
My guess is low pressure glass beads then re-blued. Do markings still look sharp?
With walnut furniture, that will be a sharp looking pistol.
Congrats.
I use Avery 5160 (30 per sheet).. I tend to load in bulk for many items, so when I pull some for the range, I put on a label on the ziploc bag. Easy way to share the load with others if asked..
Also put one or two on the inside of the ammo can holding bulk ammo..
