    SIG 229 question

    I was at a gun store yesterday and they have a SIG 229 reverse 2 tone. (June 2005 gun of the month program) Does anyone know if this SIG frame is Stainless or Nickel over aluminum? Neither I or the owner had a magnet to check it. Thanks

    Best compact single stack CC gun?

    In 9mm, I'd either carry the SIG 239 or the S&W 3913. In .40, I carry the SIG 239 daily. The 239 isn't the smallest gun around but, it conceals well and I find that the more I shoot it, the more I like it.

    Suggestions for a compact .40 S&W carry weapon

    While not the smallest .40 out there, the SIG 239 is hard to beat. I recently switched from a Glock 27 to the 239. The SIG seems to disappear in an IWB rig.
