Not bad, says I. Not bad at all. :D

1946 Tula, CCCP grip and all. No rust or corrosion anywhere at all. Considering what these Soviet-made ones USUALLY go for now...

Good looking gun. Did the dealer have anymore? Thinking about going Sunday.

It's that safety. Prices with and without are like night and day.

While I wish the import safety hadn't been jury-rigged on and would never trust it with that anyway, (this is a condition 3 pistol, period) I don't think people care so much anymore. There's one like this on Gunbroker right now, WITH the safety, up to $300 already, with four days left and a number of people bidding on it. Why I was pleased, there IS no such thing as a cheap eastern european Tok anymore, safety or not. The supply is gone, and it looks like any surplus left over there is being destroyed, as shown on another thread.

And as to other question, nope, they only had the one. The only other Toks I'd seen around were the common Norinco 9mm copies. All the eastern bloc stuff is crazy prices. The only East German Mak I saw was priced at $475. I'd just always liked Toks...to me, they have a slender profile and lines that're closer to a 1911 than the CZ-52, but they still deliver that massive 7.62x25 muzzleblast that's so much fun.

So now my Radom has an original Soviet to swap cold war stories with. :D
