You need to visit some gun shops and find what feels good in your hand. What feels good in my hand may not feel good to you.
For carry, I like the Ruger SR9c. For shooting, I like the Beretta 92FS.
mongo, better check....you no longer have to inform or show your CHL. It is still a good idea to go ahead and let them see the CHL with the drivers license. Once they run your license, the DPS database will show you as a CHL.
I love my Baby Desert Eagle with the 9mm barrel and my Beretta 92FS. Both are all metal, full frame and shoot great....and have double action and a decocker.
The .257 Roberts just won't die. Kimber is manufacturing in the caliber now. Love that cartridge.
Now I have a Baby Desert Eagle .41AE. I have about 40 PP rounds for it and no more. Luckily I do have a 9mm barrel for it and that is what I shoot in it now.
While it is a bit large for a concealed carry piece, it is one heck of a gun. Great feel for larger hands and works like a champ. It is not fond of cheap or old ammo. Mine is a few years old, so it is not of the current production.
I like the 92FS fine, but I like my Baby Desert Eagle...
