Just shoot it first I have had my SP-01Tac for 8 days and shot it 3 times for a total of 450 rounds. Plus dry-fired it about 500 times with Snap Caps. The trigger is already smoothing out. Give yourself 500 or more rounds for the gun to break in as equipped before you make any judgements...

Princi - I saw a post on a different forum, which had some pictures of the disassembled pistol. While the exterior looks very precision, the inside polymer and metal trigger action looked crude and cheap. Maybe it was just this person's pistol, but it kind of reinforces what you are saying...

Cabela's prices are very inflated as are most department stores like Dicks and Gander Mtn. You might be better off finding the best deal for the make and model gun from some online gun shops (CDNN, etc). which might save you more than $100. Then include the gun shipping and having the local FFL...
