    Shield 9 range report.

I'm considered to be a Glock fanboy, but I sold my 43 and picked up TWO Shields on the rebate. I still love my Glocks, and the 43 was a fantastic pistol - just not for me. I couldn't get it out of the holster/get a good grip to present. Once in my hand it was great, but... For a lot of people...

What Caliber Do You Carry Most?

9mm It it's HOT or I need to make the gun disappear, my .380 LCP2 BUG gets promoted to primary.

    The Best 9mm pistol....

Glock 19 all around great gun for HD, competition or CCW. Nice range gun too! Glock 43 for warm weather CCW. Don't forget that there are revolvers chambered in 9mm too - if you like revolvers. Lower capacity if using for CCW, but with moon clips, reloading speed wouldn't be bad.

Would You Trust Your Life With A .380?

Yes. My LCP2 goes everywhere with me as a BUG to my G19 or G43, and often as my primary when I have to wear hot weather attire.

    New Savage Mark II FV-SR

Went to the LGS to get a CZ or Ruger and ended up with my first Savage. Salesman was a CZ guy but really took the time to explain things. So, I got a great looking gun that's perfect for what I want at well over $100 cheaper - which was used on a Bushnell Red Dot. Range report soon!

    Noob Question .223 Reloading

Sorry if this was discussed but didn't threads it in my searches. So, I have a lot of steel case .223 and was wondering if I could pull the bullets and reload some brass with them. Mfg of my current gun warns against steel case so... The old AK clunker I used to shoot them through was sold...

    Non-believers of PCP air rifles

Flying Dragon Just got my very first springer - an XS-25 in .22 tuned by Mike M. at Flying Dragon (bought used from a GTA member). I'm an AG noob but have purchased a 1322 and some PCPs. I NEVER thought I'd buy a Boinker - that would be going backwards! But am I glad I did! Right...

What is your best 357 revolver?

    Enthusiastic +1 :) on the SP101!

help picking out a .357 magnum

I own a S&W 340PD, and several 642, 442, etc. I have two Ruger SP101s. I love them all - you can't go wrong. It depends on what you're going to mostly be using them for. If you want a really light gun, the S&W is the way to go. The GP100, Security Six, etc. are great for home defense or target.

I can't believe it but I got my carry permit (with picture)

Judging by the loss of his chest, heart and lungs, I don't think the bad guy noticed his missing ear lobe. Nice shooting - and wearing your gun around the house while vacuuming is good exercise! hahahaha. Then again, if you're wearing a gun, you can convince someone else to vacuum for you!
