New Savage Mark II FV-SR

Went to the LGS to get a CZ or Ruger and ended up with my first Savage. Salesman was a CZ guy but really took the time to explain things. So, I got a great looking gun that's perfect for what I want at well over $100 cheaper - which was used on a Bushnell Red Dot.

Congrats! Love mine. They really like CCI standard velocity ammo.

I like those rifles. Only bug I ever had with it was the "normal" issue they have with that magazines not letting it feed right.

I have one. Mine liked Federal Standard velocity and Aguila. Didn't do well with wolf match or anything except Aguila that wasn't standard velocity.

I may have gotten lucky, my mine eats everything. Love shoot CCI quiets out of it.

I love shooting mine but is in stainless not blued.
