    .41AE simple question

I know the guy who designed that cartridge and it'd surprise me to find out it ever really got into service in any capacity outside the USA. It's timing was destroyed by the advent of the 40S&W. And so it goes...

Why Does Ruger SP101 .22 get a Bad Rap?

IT IS the all-around general klunkiness of the entire pistol itself. It is about as sleek as a footer block....and at least as handy. BUT THEN...you can buy the gorgeous sleekness of Rugers SA 22 sixguns ALL of which of mine shoot as well as all three of my S&W K22's. And so it goes...

    Beretta Model 100 32acp

WOW !!! I cannot believe you paid that much for a Beretta M100 7.65mm pistol. Paid one hundred and fourty bucks for mine. It'll shoot 1/2-5/8" cloverleafs with Federal 32ACP ball ammunition at 25 yards DEAD upon it's nice Patridge sights. GECO 7.65mm ammunition does right at 1000fps from that...

Best .25 acp pocket pistol ever made.

I'l still pick the ASTRA CUB and my COLT JUNIOR. I have a CUB 22SHORT with 6742 rounds through it and it still runs like a top and can hit POA out well past 25 yrds. The 25ACP versions are simply quite excellent as well in my experience. And so to goes...

Any Bearcat Experience? Specifically the Shopkeeer?

ALL three of my Ruger BEARCAT sixguns shoot quite well indeed. The STOREKEEPER/SHOPKEEPER/FILECLERK shoots amazingly well, out to one hundred yards, and handles like a champ. It'll take down 4" plates all day long and is not all the ammunition sensitive. The other two BEARCATS, a blue Super, and...

Are revolvers inherently more reliable than semi-autos?

I WILL ADD THIS: I known men who's combined gunfights are a bit over one hundred. Two of the three I asked said if you want the best chance of seeing you ass come out upright your first gun pulled better be a powerful revolver. After that it's anything-you-like-Katy-bar-the-door. One man, who...

How many rounds will a CZ EVO 3 last?

Questions like this always arouse my curiosity. Did you ask the salesman how many miles your truck will run before it falls apart ? Did you ask thr real estete agent how long before your new house crumbles in to a pile of toothpicks ? Do YOU actually do ANY shooting atall, or is this just an...

    255gr .45 ACP for 1917

Those 1917 pistols are not made of heat treated/tempered steel and it is PRETTY DAMNED EASY to crack a charge hole in the cylinder by fooling around where GOD and COLT did not want you to go. READ Skeeter Skelton !! And so it goes....
